Hi my Great Great Grandfather Harry Skelton was born in 1 Down Hill Street in 1891 then within 5mths moved to no:79.
When where your relatives there?

My Great Great Great Grandfather was born in NO: 1 Down Hill Street in 1891.
Harry Skelton and then 5mths later they were living at NO: 79 Down Hill Street. Amazing seeing photos.

The Harland family ,
Goerge and Sarah Harland then the children,
Walter,Alice,Elizabeth.
John,Goerge,Sarah ,Annie,
Frances, Hannah,
Can anybody remember them at all please or have any information,

My Great Grandmother lived in Downhill Street in 1881. Great to see images of the road.

My 2nd Great Grandfather was Matthew Arthur who was a bricklayer. He married Catherine Langan. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth married Ernest Whisker. Mary died very young aged 33, leaving two young daughters that were brought up by foster parents. My Mum remembered going to York to see what she thought was an Auntie Catherine. Upon my research the only Catherine in the tree would have been her Great Grandmother.
