I think I was at tang hall school about 1951/2 and burnholme school until about 1962 I remember Terry and the fruit and veg shop. Brings back many happy memories. Do you remember the Harrison’s Philip John and Ann

Bernard is my Grandad and I’m guessing your cousin. I vaguely remember Great Great Grandad Martins 100th birthday, he passed at the grand old age of 103.

Lovely memories of childhood days in Layerthorpe. I remember the younger of your brothers, I think he worked for the Gas Board and came to read the meters. I left Bilton Street School in 1954 and went on to Fishergate School but most went to Tang Hall School so I then lost contact with many, but nice to catch up on this site.
