We don’t have much information so far in terms of personal memories of Duke of York Street.

  1. I have book with the presentation from the Layerthorpe Sunday School in Duke of York Street given to my mum’s Aunt Evelyn Kidd dated May 1915 – happy to send in an image –

      That sounds very interesting Mark and I for one would love to see it. I know that some of my ancestors attended the Sunday School in Duke of York street around that time. Was the book, that your mum’s aunt received, a prize for her attendance, or was it a book about the Sunday School?
